As a photographer and filmmaker Mitch has helmed International campaigns for Clients such as Converse, Budweiser, Coke and Honda. He has won numerous industry awards including a Clio, several Addys, Mobius and Art Director Club Awards as well as being recognized by the New York, Miami, Rotterdam, Berlin, New Orleans and Sundance (out of competition) Film Festivals.
As a photographer his work has been featured in the LA Times, LA Magazine, New York Times, The Atlantic, Hearst Publications and NAT GEO online among many others.
Career highs and lows include directing a Super Bowl Commercial, directing a TV series starring chimps (You heard right), voice directing Sean Connery as James Bond (for the last time) for the videogame "From Russia With Love", Francis Copolla producing his first short film "Ironbound", working with artists such as Phillip Glass, Richard Serra, Kieth Haring, Dr. Dre and... Earth, Wind and Fire. Traveling around the world and getting to know extraordinary hard working people. Getting certified as a Swiftwater Rescue and Wilderness First Responder Mountain Guide. Also working to draw attention to the LA River (the most important urban development project in America) and volunteering to help heal men suffering from childhood physical, emotional and sexual abuse.
